I’mmmm baaaaccckkkk. It’s been a while. I haven’t been on this pharmacy studyblr since P2 year. Wut?!? But... I’ve been working on some things. I’m now a pharmacist! And a pharmacy resident. If you’re a student and you are interested in residency... check out my youtube channel! :)

Pharmacy Residency Interview #3 coming atcha. Tip #1. Plan your travel arrangements better than I did and don't drive 16 hours to an interview.
MATCHED!
This whole applying to residency and interviewing have been such a stressful journey, but definitely a rewarding one. The wait is the worst... not knowing where you will match or if you will even match at all are the constant thoughts that have been saturating in my head. But I needed to keep reminding myself that not getting residency is not the end of the world.
The night before Match results was released had to have been the most stressful. Sleep did not play in my favor. I remember around 4am is when I actually fell asleep, until I had to wake up at 5am to see if ASHP had released my results. My body shook awake around 5:15am, and there on my phone screen was an email from ASHP.
“Your ASHP Match Results”
I quickly grabbed my phone and opened the email. As my blurry vision began to clear up, there I read “Congratulations, you have matched!” I could not believe my eyes. I was relieved, excited, and scared at the same time. That day was filled with emotions as I now had to plan for my future and for my move. I’ve lived in California my whole entire life, and having to live in a new state is going to be an adventure for me.
I am excited for this next chapter of my life and hopefully this new experience will open many other doors for me. Moving somewhere completely new is definitely going to be a challenge, but who knows! I might end up staying there forever :)
