So yesterday as I was going into work, before I entered the pharmacy I ran into a patient in the front store. He told be that it would be his last day getting prescriptions at our pharmacy because his insurance is no longer contracted with our pharmacy company and that he's going to another chain. He proceeded to tell me that how I have come a long way. He said starting out as a new person that knew nothing to seeing how everyone now relies on me because I am so skilled. Amazing Customer service, friendliness, and always smiling even when things get tough. He said he was sad to go due to his insurance but will still visit us because he shops often in the front store. After hearing what he told me made my day, practically my week. It's Not everyday you hear positive things but when you make an impact on someone's life, a patient, it makes you feel good. Nowadays no one takes the time to hear people out, just rush to cut them off and get them out but building. A relationship with one another is how I made it and by earning their trust.
