day 94, 2021
The best days seem to be when I don’t eat.
I got up before 8, my legs numb and sore as every morning, but I shook it off faster than usual, drank leftover half an energy drank, had leftover pizza with ceramic dust from a plate that exploded when the ☠🔴🤦♂️ing ceramic stove thought “2.5 / 9″ means “raging hellfire with a side dish of napalm.
I had another energy drink, played Just Cause 4, joined a Zoom meeting, started writing ADHD self-help guide, and around 2pm I thought, OK, I will go for a walk soon, but first I’ll try to see if Phaser.js is still good.
And, uh, four hours later I had a prototype of MasterPlan format viewer (which is just a JSON file, really) ready, with zooming and scrolling, supporting only 2 out of 10 note formats (arrows and notes do work; images, chalkboard, audio, etc don’t... yet).
And it’s all available here, with source code available too, as it’s open source and you can just press Ctrl-U anyway.
As much as I hate programming, I do think it’s neat that you can just... do a thing and it works. Seeing the results of your labor is so important, and (a part of) the javascript ecosystem is really good at that.
At 7pm I fed the cats, ate a vegan kohuke, and went for a walk.
