Of all the people to be stuck in a car with; she was glad that is was Aj. Over the past few weeks, give or take, she had taken a certain... liking... to the self-proclaimed phenomenal one. You wouldn’t catch Alexa calling him that, however. But when he asked her to ride with him to the next town; she didn’t think twice about turning it down. Had if have been someone else; she would have declined in less than a heartbeat.    Since she was only five feet tall, she was able to kick her feet up on the dash of the rental and roll her eyes harshly at his choice of music. She’d rather listen to nails on a chalkboard. “Listening to this song makes me wanna google directions to the closest nursing home and drop you off, gramps.”

                        she paused for a moment, mouth agape slightly. he HAD to be joking, right? becky leaned against her rental behind them before tugging at her bottom lip with her teeth. the contemplation  l i n g e r e d  o n  for a moment before she pursed her lips, looking around the parking garage. it seemed to be fairly quiet and empty, so she reached for the back door handle, popping it open before wetting her lips. ‘ if you’re SURE, ’ a sheepish grin spread onto her features.

HE’D BEEN ANGRIER THAN USUAL.  &  that was saying something. Apparently, attempted murder was something that he was into nowadays ----- Don’t get her wrong: seeing him so hot  &  flustered got her a little hot under the collar but... She couldn’t exactly validate the humanity of slamming someone’s head into a car  &  getting fired. That’s why she didn’t even bother knocking when she intruded his hotel room --- He should have learned to shut the door properly by now. 

‘  &  I thought I had issues.  ’    It was a short comment, throwing herself down onto the bed, ungracefully as ever, and kicking her boot-clad shoes onto the crispy hotel bed sheets.  ‘  Should I start compiling m’savings in case I have to bail you out of jail, or are you gonna pull ya’ freaking head in before you actually lose your job? Cause the way you’re going, you’re gonna be on ya’ ass with no job in less than a month.  ’  Though really, who was she to be giving advice on anger issues?
