Back to working on my RC car. Sorting out the code which calculates wheel speed using the pulses coming from the hall effect sensor. “You’re such a damn baby,” Dean complained. His shirt was practically stuck to his chest, he couldn’t unstick it even if he wanted to and here this guy was lamenting that they were possibly going to die. Man, he couldn’t take him anywhere. Admittedly, when they’d left there hadn’t been a cloud in the sky but now it was like the heavens had opened on them.

He should have hated it, should have been irritated that he was soaked to the skin but he couldn’t bring himself to care too much. The shoulder at his own grounded his thoughts to a reality in which they were okay now, they were still mending a lot of things but they were on the right path. Briefly he looked up at the sky and back at Seth before shrugging his jacket off. “Here, take it  - can’t have you whining when you catch a cold.”

   Never before in her life had she experienced such pain. Maybe because for the first time she was breaking apart her whole life, that was pretty much already broken. But it still hurt like hell to make that final blow.    “If it wouldn’t of been important then all the time I spent being married to Mike means nothing. We were in love once upon a time, but apparently it wasn’t for the eternity”. Having that fairytale relationship was always adream, that would stay unattainable. Leaning against Colby, the blonde thought for a moment about her emotional state. “You know... while it still hurts, it feels like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. It was long overdue for us to sit down and talk about everything, to clear the air and make a decision. Hopefully, it would get easier with time”.
