Soooo. Yesterday we had the unexpected business of a clogged main drainpipe in the bathroom. Worldly problems are so NOT my thing. Spent the entire day communicating with both of the landlords separately, the property manager and housekeeper as well as different plumbing companies. fortunately, it was not bad, clean water flooded tha bathroom, so after unclogging whatever clogged the main pipe, it was really quickly fixed and dried up.
This leaves me here, again, at 5am, sitting on the article I was supposed to hand in yesterday.
The only comfort is, that I really like the article and am convinced it will end well.

I wished I could just read my pile of books that I accumulated over the past year, write some book reviews and other texts without any deadline. The list of things “to do after the PhD“ is getting longer and longer.
