Is there an AO3 collection thing for this as well or is it just tumblr?

I'm working on making an Ao3 collection, but I'm still trying to get the hang of it. 😅 This would be my first one. But, yes, there will be an Ao3 collection. (If I don't fuck it up, lol.)

Yes, you can still post to this event if you'd like. We'd love that actually. As for an event later this year, there should most likely be one starting around September. So, you can post to that one too, if you'd like. Whatever you're most comfortable with.

hello! i would like to post a video on my Youtube channel (that i would repost to Tumblr and tag your blog in) announcing how i'll be streaming my work on the Profiction Halloween art submissions. before i do so, i would like to know if this is okay. here are the parts of the script in which this blog is mentioned: i'm going to be participating in my first ever monthly event: Profiction Halloween oh, and go give the profiction Halloween blog some love if you can. i think this is an awesome event to host and i'm super excited for it. this also includes two screenshots of the prompt lists, a screenshot of the blog, and a link to the blog in my description. if any of this is unacceptable or needs to be changed, please let me know. i want to respect your wishes. :) - @emmettmachine

I have a very specific question about the RPF rule.

Say there is a game. It is themed on many things. And there is a character in it, that is based off of a real person(who is related to that theme). The character has the appearance of that person's fictionalised persona, and their username.

However, that character does not act like the real person it is based off of. The character is a God (while the real person is not), the character can float and stuff(while the real person cannot), the character's appearance is all the being is (while for the real person it is based off of, it is just a silly game avatar), the personalities of the character and the real person are completely different, and the character is based mostly off of the myths and the aesthetics of the real person's persona. In the context of the game, this is completely normal and not an ode to the real person.

The fandom, and creators of the game generally treat the character as being its own seperate being completely distinct from the real person.

Would including this character in this event violate the no RPF rule, or is it too fictionalised and too abstract to be real RPF?

Vamp and I have thought about it, and yes, this is fine. Fictionalized depictions based on real people are allowed as long as they're distinct enough from the real person they're based on.

To put it simply, art of characters like Darkiplier/Antisepticeye are fine, but art of Markiplier/Jacksepticeye isn't.
