prophet's post made me realize i should probably write down everyone's relationships

Elias Leroux

♡ QPR with Harper Faraday (@the-insouciant-scientist ) (go through a lot of the motions of romance and are dedicated to and married to eachother)

♡ Happles (romantic on occasion (usually intensly so), frequently sexual, but platonic ownership/dedication a lot of the time. relationships with masters are strange)

♡ Irving Merrit (@the-insouciant-scientist ) (Very picturesque romance on the outside, lots of dates and letters to eachother, but very platonic in private, mostly enjoying eachother's company)

♡ The Bloody-Handed Prince (Post the Bloody Wallpaper and some Parabolan incidents. Not frequent, but intense, and ends in much bloodshed)

♡ The Once-Dashing Tomb-Colonist (long distance unless Elias gets exiled, many passionate letters are exchanged frequently, it's a good arrangement for the both of them)

♡ The Bewildering Procession (varies from paramour to paramour, but never looks like a 'typical' relationship)

♡ The Silk-Clad Expert (Lots of fun BDSM and kink in Parabola, occasional flirting and kisses)(Femdom)

Orchid, tulip, winterberry? :-)

Orchid: What's your oc's biggest fear? Elias has two big, main fears. The first i've talked about before, with them being terrified of losing their freedom and being trapped again! The second, however, I haven't mentioned much! The Socialite is incredibly scared of nobody liking them. They want to be loved and adored, and the thought of everyone hating them, resenting them? Horrific to them!!! Pennitha is afraid of never finding any love ever again. Of being lost, consumed, and nothing but a hollow shell of who she was. Forgotten as a ghost. Pheobe is terrified that the other Varchaasi were right, and that they are doomed to never walk in Mihir's Light, cast aside forever. Tulip: If you could say/do one thing to your OC, what would you say/do? I would wrap Elias in blankets and tell them that they are loved, and that they can finally live their life, and live it for themself. They'll do things they may regret, but that doesn't mean they've ruined their newest chance. I would give Pennitha a hug, and tell her it's not worth it to sacrifice herself to bring others back. She can live her life with their memory beside them, and it won't be a betrayal. She's allowed to feel happiness again. I want to tell Pheobe that he can engage with his beliefs in a way that it won't hurt him, and help him deconstruct what happened to him. I want to explain that if he chooses, he can still love his faith without overwriting what about it harmed him. his worth is not based entirely in what others say his god should be like.

okay so, i originally had no context in my head for this drawing, i was just thinking of how to fit the prompy and i kinda put their dagger on display and with blood there just to include it! but now.... I'm just rotating this in my mind and trying to think of how exactly this would have happened, what lead to this situation here!!!

fun fact: this was my first time drawing pheobe!!!! his design is liable to change a bit as i figure him out more, but here it is!!! his first ever art!!! and it's of him being a goofy guy!!!

Lily answered here!! Lavander: how do they cope with loud noises? Elias: Elias had some practice with this when their parents had lots of guests over, and even more when they were in court, but they still don't like it! If they're having a good day they'll be able to tolerate it and have quite time afterwards, if they're having a bad day they'll start to dissociate and not realize what's going on until it's stopped! Pennitha is remarkably okay with others' loud noises! A sudden loud noise though and she'll jump out of her skin! But in general she really doesn't mind it! Pheobe is already HoH, and will be much moreso after a certain point in Bagging that Legend, so they prefer when people Speak Up Please! He can't hear :( Lower tones are easier though, but High and Loud can actually hurt a bit! ask game here

rose & lily for everyone?? :D

Rose: Favorite form of self care? Elias: If Elias has energy to spare, then they'll work on their garden!!! It's something that is purely a hobby for them, so they don't have to worry about work or the Guild or anything else! It helps them work out frustrations, and give them something to concentrate on! They have a Dye garden at the university that their students and partners help tend, but back home they have an assortment of plants they they have purely for the love of them! it gets them out of their own head and serves as a good distraction for her! if they don't have energy to spare? They'll make their bed up with their favorite quilts and pillows, make some tea, and just rest and read a book! it provides mental stimulation, but also ensures she won't hurt her body if it's already a bad pain day! Pennitha: Pennitha will make herself a nice bath!! She likes the cool water, it helps ground her, and it also helps make sure she's clean! Pennitha likes to take care of hygeine, but unfortunatly when she's deep in morning that can go to the wayside. She also spends time taking care of her hair, and making certain her curls are properly maintained! She'll also work on her knitting, making scarves and gloves and mittens!! Usually she gives these away as gifts for friends, and if she's focusing on a complex pattern then she can't get lost in her own thoughts. She'll also go and visit friends, as being alone for too long has a bad impact on her (like with Elias! these two spend a lot of time in each other's company) Pheobe: Pheobe will dust and clean his whole house! It's good to be doing something productive, and it makes him feel good to live in a clean and happy space. He'll relight his candles, and maybe spend some time at his altar. He writes in his journal a lot too, it helps him sort through his own emotions and make well-informed decisions!!! Lily: Love language?

Elias shows their devotion distantly! They aren't affectionate in person, but they are cuddly! They'll initiate touch frequently, though they don't like recieving it if others initiate without permission! They'll lean on others frequently, or purposefully move out of their wheelchair to sit on someone. With blanket permission though, touch over clothing is fine!! Showing it to others, they'll also often send letters! Even if you see them everyday, you may still wake up to your letterbox full of poems they think you'd like, or pressed flowers, or even the rare photograph! Elias has been hurt by words a lot, but was never shown physical affection until they came to london, so if you want to win them over, gifts of things they mentioned previously, or returning their cuddles are the way to go! or just being there for them consistently! Pennitha also enjoys physical touch, though not as much as Elias. She likes being helped with things, and she'll reciprocate with lots of little gifts! Emotional comfort has the most impact on her however. Being a shoulder to cry on, to bear some of the burden with her, means absolute worlds to her. She's very good at gifting and planning things for others, and knows everyone's likes and dislikes!! She also enjoys spending time with people!

Pheobe is also fond of giving and receiving gifts! He likes scheduled time together, whether for walks in the marshes, fighting off blemmigans when those walks go poorly, getting coffee after washing off blemmigan slime... he likes being intimate with someone like that! He's also prone to cuddles! Ask game here

so now i have pheobe mesbah, once Varchasi who was cast into shadow during a pilgrimage by the the Vake, who was hunting wildly out of its usualy range. Shunned and exiled for being a Tremas, they struggle to integrate with London life and culture, while keeping hold of the Varchasi heritage, as he hunts hunts down the one who made him leave the Light.
