Failure, for there are two failures in her life that will forever remain in her mind. One led to the death of her fiancee, the other led to the end of her world.
Being alone, even though she likes to have moments of solitude, Rose will always seek companionship. It’s on of the reasons why she kept Michael (and the fact that she is incredibly attached to dragons).
Losing herself whether it be to the Monster or to protecting Endiness because she wasted her life trying to save her world, and she would sooner end her life than sit peacefully when she could be doing something.
