Unforetold Consequences Part 2: Ipimnu (Teaser!)
This is an exerpt of the next chapter of my SWTOR fic, “Unforetold Consequences”. It is in Ipimnu (My Imperial Agent) POV. I love writing fics in multiple POV and weaving their narratives into a cohesive story. It is so much fun! The first draft is mostly done, so this chapter is coming soon!
Enjoy!!
Here is the link to the first chapter:
Unforetold Consequences
Part 2: Ipimnu
Ipimnu sat in the cockpit of her ship, staring at the drifting debris outside its window. She didn’t think that they would escape the blast when the Star Fortress exploded behind them. Luckily for Koth’s piloting skills, her ship was only propelled forward. She could hardly believe it even with the wreckage before her. They did it. The Star Fortress that was oppressing all of Nar Shaddaa was finally destroyed.
Ipimnu could not bring herself to join Koth and the rest of the crew in celebration though. She could only sigh at their cheers and slump in her seat, succumbing to her sore muscles. This was far from over. She wondered if she would ever leave this life of espionage and war. She thought she could finally put away her blaster rifle and vibro-knife when she left Imperial Intelligence and settled down with her husband, Phi-ton, on Voss all those years ago. But her past came back to bite her. Ipimnu might have deleted the existence of her time as Cipher Nine using the black codex, but she could never delete herself from the minds of others. Someone slipped their tongue and brought her nothing but suffering. She would never forgive Lana Beniko for what she did to her family.
Ipimnu felt warm hands wrap around her which broke her out of thoughts. She leaned into them, knowing immediately that it was Phi-ton. She gazed back at her husband.
The Voss man was lean and muscular in his commando armor. His blue skin was covered in colorful markings that reminded her of an abstract painting. Their eyes met, his yellow eyes looking into her reddish brown.
“My wife,” he began, kissing her freckled cheek. “Don’t you want to celebrate with the others?”
Ipimnu shook her head before looking back at the scraps of metal that floated outside.
“We should be planning our next move, not partying. This is far from over,” she said, gripping his arms. “With the Eternal Empire’s limitless wealth, who knows when another one of those fortresses will be remade and overtake us again,”
Phi-ton hummed in understanding and rested his head on her shoulder. He smelt like a mixture of tea and incense, a soothing combination that loosened her a little.
“Ipimnu, we brought hope back to the galaxy. We showed others that we have a chance to defeat Arcann and end this war. Don’t fret. It will be easy to garner others to our cause,”
Ipimnu smiled a little and caressed his face. He always had a way of brightening the worst of situations. Phi-ton was her lantern in this dark tunnel of life.
“Yes,” she replied before giving him a quick peck on the lips. “For now,”
Vector approves of Cipher Nine’s diplomacy on Voss
I can’t really tell if I’m being longed for or broken up with, but either way it’s melting my heart. Phi-Ton is the absolute sweetest.
I’m going to assume that this isn’t referenced when you get to Voss post-Vaylin’s assult, but wouldn’t it be great if it was and you got to repay Phi-Ton’s kindness by saving him out of the wreckage of his burning tea-shop?
And you just bring him back to the Alliance, and it’s like, oh yes, meet my husband, and the two of you develop some odd, dysfunctional, weird relationship based on lies and the serving of tea?
I mean, he’s basically the nicest person you as the Agent have met except possibly Vector, who is made out of insects. (Actually Phi-Ton and Vector would make a super interesting couple. Maybe you can all have some weird polyamorous insectoid living arrangement/relationship.)
I want to read fics of all of the above and more, is what I’m saying.
can we just talk about these
i feel so sad for phi-ton, i swear.
“forget me. remember voss” has to be the most heartbreaking line ever
wait wait wait has NO ONE written fic about phi-ton????
i went to tag phi-ton/agent and came up blank, and searching phi-ton only brings up ONE fic and only bc he’s mentioned in the description (not tags)..... i mean i know he’s a minor character but like??
HOW OLD ARE YOUR CHARACTERS IN SWTOR?

14 years passes while our character is around. Five of them was stollen by Arcann, but it still gives us hella of time in the Galaxy to do anything what we have to, but also what we want to. A lot of time gaps to fill and plot holes to use.
My headcanoned dates of birth and ages of characters:
Sith Inquisitor (Sorcerer) was born in 3663. She’s 20 year old when she is captured by Empire and sent to Korriban (yes, I wanted her to be as special as Xalek was, I wanted a slave, who was not behaving like slave, but knew how bad slavery was, due to family history). She should be 34 year old during Copero. But thanks to Arcann she’s 29 year old and due to that her husband - Andronikos - is now 20 years older. (Not my fault! *points at Arcann*) She has a daughter with Andronikos Revel. Isana is 10 years old during Copero.
Sith Inquisitor (Assassin) was born in 3663. She’s 20 year old when she is captured by Empire and sent do Korriban (yes, I wanted her to be as special as Xalek was, I wanted a slave, who was not behaving like slave, but knew how bad slavery was, due to family history). She's 34 year old during Copero. Which is funny because now she is 5 years older than her twin sister (they are Mixed Twins - fraternal twins that physically look different due to rare genetic combination for fraternal twins which commonality is a million to one ratio amongst twins).
Jedi Consular (Sage) was born in 3665. She’s 22 year old when she arrives on Tython. Which means that she is literally 7 years younger than Felix and is basically the same age as Nadia Grell - just one year older, but who would look at this right now, when it’s too silly to even point out. She’s 36 during Copero.
Imperial Agent was born in 3668. They’re 25 year old when they start their mission on Hutta, which means that they’re 39 year old during Copero. They are not main character, so they didn’t lose 5 years in my timeline. But they disappeared for some time and lived a normal life for a few. They spent some of those years in Chiss space. They are also one of a few characters of mine, which do have children already. They probably have them with Aristocra Saganu (who may or may not be their husband still, though I am more inclined to make this marriage into some internal chiss drama, where their children and force-sensitivity and some secrets of IA were the main reason why IA played their role as wife of Aristocra to actually fuck up Chiss Space after Zenta was captured).
Sith Warrior was born in 3670. She’s 27 year old when she arrives on Korriban to become Darth Barass’ apprentice. Which means that she is just one year younger than Pierce and TEN YEARS YOUNGER THAN MALAVAI QUINN!? (Ok, I didn’t expect him to be that old!) And also six years older than Vette, whom she treats like her younger sister and will protect her till death. She’s 41 year old during Copero.
Bounty Hunter (Mercenary) was born in 3673. She’s 30 year old when she starts to fight for the place in the Great Hunt. She transitioned before she decided to enter the Great Hunt. She is so much older than Mako and Torian, that she treats them more like children or youngest siblings, which she cares about and would do anything to protect them, but still respects them and doesn’t invalidate their opinions. She’s 44 year old during Copero.
WORK IN PROGRESS...
Jedi Knight (probably around 3668) is intersex and hates Jedi order for raising her as a woman, fucking up with their hormones by giving them medication to make them “more of a woman” until they found out around the time when the Republic lost with the Eternal Empire and left the Order for real.
Trooper (around 3663-3668)
Twilek Smuggler (probably around 3665)
Togruta Smuggler (probably around 3670)
Bounty Hunter (Powertech) (probably around 3660) they are a Cathar Foundling who romances Torian Cadera.
Jedi Consular (Shadow) i have no idea, because she is Sith Spy in Jedi order and I have to think about her whole storyline yet.
Twilek Imperial Agent no idea either.
That moment when you feel more for a quest npc than the romance made for your character.
headcannon : she’s totally going to find a way to live on voss
