Will Scarlett personally know/befriend some of the victims prior to Scream 2? Maureen Evans, Phil Stevens, Casey 'Cici' Cooper, etc. Or is her friendship circle (if I can call it that) more intimate and only sticks with Sid, Randy, Derek, Mickey and Hallie?

I don’t think Scarlett would have been friends with Maureen or Phil because they were Seniors. And according to wiki Maureen Evans was a Medical/Biology major.

I know that when you’re in your final years in college you tend to stick to classes for only your major and they’re smaller. Less lecture size. So they also wouldn’t have had any classes together.

Cici is probably the only one of the victims Scarlett would be familiar with. Cici was in Randy’s class. But I also like to imagine they would have seen each other around campus. And since in Scream 2 they’re Sophomores in college they could’ve maybe taken a class or two together to get those general credits that Freshmen need. Like Communication.

In my university everyone had to take Communication in their first or second year.
