Berkelahi, Dua pemain NBA Dijatuhi Hukuman Denda
Sementara Butler dijatuhi hukuman 15 ribu dolar AS (sekitar Rp 61 juta} karena mendorong Dudley. Read the full article

Chalk was the medium that made pop artist Keith Haring famous. The short-lived drawings he sketched on blank posters throughout the New York City subway had surprisingly long-term effects on his career, boosting widespread recognition of his tessellating figures that appealed to art connoisseurs and children alike.
That vulnerability was the intention for We the Youth, a collaborative mural the American artist created in Philadelphia in September of 1987. The work, which marks its 30th anniversary on Sunday, was always meant to be temporary.
It was also Plan B. Plan A was for Haring to paint a mural on a trash truck that would drive around Philadelphia, bringing art—and sanitation services—around town. The Philadelphia Sanitation Department refused to lend a truck for that purpose, however, so the project organizers came up with another idea.
On the streets... Philadelphia
On the streets… Philadelphia
In the City of Brotherly Love Philadelphia, we really felt the warm feelings in the air hiding around the corner. The emotions can be caught and this is the magic of the photography. Each city remains particular aftertaste. Philadelphia is not Garden of Eden but when you are catching up something real even for a second, the things can get more colorful and different. Old couple. Forever love. On…

Not surprised. Acme is a little expensive to begin with. So if you want any soda in Philly, better get it by tomorrow before midnight. But make sure to ask frst if the store is already applying the tax. The tax also applies to any sugar sweetened beverages and even artificially sweetened ones.
I seriously doubt that most of that tax revenue is going to go to the school district. I hope the tax is repealed. Because the way it is applied is unfair. So many drinks will be expensive now even if they are artificially sweetened or contain a smaller amount of sugar. The threshold is too low for most drinks that contain sugar. They already tax us through the nose for everything else. It’s your own fault if you overindulge in soda. I think the average person can and does pace themselves. It’s up to parents to make sure their kids aren’t sucking down enough sodas to fill a swimming pool.
Where did the term “sugary drinks” come from? I can’t remember when it first appeared. But I don’t recall hearing it as a kid.
You know what drink has a lot of sugar? Orange juice. A 12 ounce glass contains 33 grams of sugar. Now that’s not added sugar and at least it’s better for you than soda due to being from a fruit. However, that’s still a lot of sugar. Plus a lot of teeth damaging acid. So it’s ok to tax us on soda but not orange juice because it comes from an orange? So let’s say kids can’t afford sodas with their snack money anymore. So they get those 16 ounce juice bottles. Well due to the sugar content (it takes a lot of fruit to make a serving of juice), kids are still getting tons of sugar. Especially if they drink the whole bottle.
By comparison a 12 ounce glass of grape juice contains 58 grams of sugar and 240 calories. A 12 ounce glass of apple juice contains 39 grams of sugar. And most of those juice boxes people give their kids are not 100% juice and have added sugar anyway.
I got the numbers from here: http://www.livestrong.com/article/285308-no-sugar-diet-plan/
People will not just start buying water or unsweetened tea instead. They might migrate to juice and take in just as much or more sugar as before. Then you get into the milk based drinks like chocolate, strawberry and vanilla milk. Loads of added sugar. But hey it’s ok right? There’s milk in there!
It just seems like a half-assed, lopsided way to line some rich pockets with more gold by telling the people they are unhealthy slobs that need to be taxed into good health. Also we should all feel guilty about the school district's problems if we don’t support the tax. But I think we’ve been taxed enough. Plus if less people can buy these drinks won’t the tax revenue go down? They want us to support school programs that are going to be reliant on this tax by buying less of the taxed product. :/
To me it just sounds like Big Tax is taking on Big Soda and sticking it to Little Citizens.
