La ansiedad le embargaba, revisaba su cabello cada tanto en su celular y de paso, confirmaba si era el día que habían acordado (y la hora también). Era un manojo de nervios, nadie lo podía negar, ni él con su fingida confianza. 

En más de una ocasión una señora que vendía flores le abordó con un discurso que decía más o menos así “A tu novia le encantará, vamos, compra unas rosas y hazla feliz” Al menos dos veces, avergonzado, se negó. ¿Era adecuado regalarle flores a un muchacho? La señora regresaba para tentarlo, se aprovechaba del estado del niño, y él, casi-casi dice que sí. Pero no lo hizo —por suerte— y terminó ingresando al café, abandonando sus deseos cursis. 

Guardó asiento cerca de la ventana, al lado de una pareja. Así podría prepararse si lo veía a lo lejos. @cinmvclub
