Getting set up to show a friend a game of Black Orchestra. A truly remarkable cooperative game by @pdubarry where we are all playing real-life historic figures who actually tried to kill Hitler during WWII. If we kill Hitler then we win the game. Black Orchestra was the term used by the Gestapo during WWII referring to a group of conspirators plotting to kill Adolf Hitler. It took us three tries but Sherri and I did it! We killed Hitler in a two-player game on easy. Probably time to bump up the difficulty... but just slightly. 😙 I feel like winning this game, regardless of difficulty, is a really big accomplishment! Such a brilliant game that teaches a bit of the history behind the very real-life stories of the very real attempts by real people trying to kill Hitler during World War II. Trying to rewrite history in the form of a game is a great way to inspire people to research and read up on this dark era.
