Posing after taking a shot at the Kali Drum with musician Paul Zialcita and the artist duo of Jean Sison and Jonathan Cena in Pasay City.
The location was where Paul had his Kali Drums produces, which he took inspiration from the Japanese Taiko (太鼓) drums, and he performs on the drums using FMA (Filipino Martial Arts) strikes.
Jonathan and Jean are both visual artists and musicians who also promote the traditional tapping tattoos.

My ex-wife and I are celebrating the birthday of musician Paul Zialcita at the White Moon Café and Restaurant in the Manila Ocean Park, in Manila.
I have met Paul in 1999 during the Baguio Arts Festival, when he was part of the world music band Pinikpikan, which Sammy Asuncion (born 1973) had formed in 1989.

My ex-wife and I are hanging around with musician Noel Cabangon (born 1963), at the Conspiracy Garden Café in Quezón City.
We got close to Noel when my wife wanted to write about him in 2000, for her magazine Earthian, where we would regularly meet him at The 70’s Bistro (established 1992). Noel attributes our regular watching of his performances as the reason why we became an item.
Conspiracy Garden Café was established in 2003 by a cooperative of visual artists, writers, musicians, academicians, and social activists; the Conspiracy Garden Café has become a favorite watering hole for like-minded people, as they listen to the nightly performances of established and up-coming artists. Whether it is folk music, rock n’ roll, spoken word poetry, or even experimental music, there is something for every type of audience here.

With every little let down I won't breakdown I would tell myself Hoping I can get out With every little let down I won't breakdown Sooner or later, hope to find my way out Certain things will come along And weigh down But I take them in stride Move them one at a time 'Cause, I think I'm better than this Working on making my visions come to exist All in good time I guess I'm gonna have it all All in good time I guess Believing that everything's All in good time All in good time I guess I've taken all the wrong turns I took the long way Was finding reasons And they're keeping me down Certain things have come along And I've found I can take them in stride Move them one at a time "I should've know" "I could've tried it" Won't let these words control me anymore All in good time All in good time I guess All in good time Believing that everything's All in good time
