Last night on December 21, 2014 nearly 1,000 people marched through Center City in Philadelphia, PA. This protest was called #PhillyBlackOut, marching on behalf of the unarmed victims killed by police brutality. Everyone of all ethnicities gathered and chanted “#BlackLivesMatter”. There were children that marched along with their parents, chanting “Hands up, don’t shoot”. The protest started at 15th and Arch St and the protesters marched to the Arts Museum.
