i love art where grace wears very alien, scifi/fantasy esque clothes on erid because (at least movie-wise) eridians don't wear clothes, which means he's not wearing their fashions to fit in, he just chose to look like that

i wish more people would explore non-eurocentric science on erid. i see a ton of fics and fanworks where science and medicine are these detached, impersonal things with sterile rooms and labcoats. and maybe it's just because i've taken so many anthropology courses but i always find myself wondering why eridians would have 1-to-1 copies of earth eurocentric ideals! explore indigenous and non-western science and knowledge! there are so many ways different cultures have explored the world around them that aren't sterile rooms and labcoats!
