YALL WAIT THE CIRCLE MAKER BY SPARKBIRD IS SOOOOO NEIL JOSTEN CORE HAS ANYONE ELSE SAID THIS BEFORE
was just listening to an @sparkbirdmusic song on my walk to the bus stop and was watching a bird on the other side of the road (I think it was a crow? I can never remember how to tell the difference between crows and ravens) and it did a little hop on beat
This is very random but it was also very whimsical and made me smile

Art for Sparkbird's "A Person"
I know the showcase isn't open yet, but I got this idea today and I just had to try it. I was inspired by the video Rabbitology made for her song "Stranger," where she had people of her community make little people out of various objects, preferably in nature. So I made a little Sparkbird out of something I had lying around! Bonus points if you can guess what it is! I will tell you that all the materials used minus the tape came from the same object before I took it apart.
I attempted to make Sparkbird's little wings that they have on their head, I don't know how well it came across though. I also used the red stuff to sort of mimic blood. I was thinking about the idea that blood is what makes us alive, makes us human. What truly makes someone human, or a person? I don't really know if it's blood or our minds or something else, but I thought it was interesting imagery.
This isn't the most polished piece I've made, but I thought it was a fun experiment and I like the way it turned out!
