halloween is coming and i plan to play resident evil drunk. but which resident evil? that is the question i come to you today with.

the options boil down to games that i 1. enjoy 2. feel are at least a little ~atmospheric in keeping with the holiday and 3. set to difficulties that should make it a bloodbath when i am impaired.

what resident evil game should i play drunk on halloween?

resident evil (2002) - real survivor mode: chris

resident evil 2 (2019) - hardcore 1st run: leon

resident evil 3: nemesis (1999) - hard

resident evil 4 (2023) - professional, accessories TBD

mmm. i used to change usernames often, but now they are almost all phoenix related, at the very least.

never. what is the point? only rookie leon is silly enough to wear white shoes (uh. sorry white shoe owners.)

would you rather watch three twenty minute episodes or a one hour movie?

since i probably would just be listening while i doodle, i prefer an hour, so i dont have to potentially be interrupted every 20 minutes to advance to the next episode.

little update:

sorry for dropping off the face of the earth for several weeks there, but you know how it is. slowly reintroducing social media back into my life and hoping to get back into the swing of posting, interacting and creating again.

i didn’t get as far into mermaid au as i wanted to, so i still plan to work on that some more even though october is over. and i am still dedicated to selkie au, i promise.

hope to be seeing more of you guys soon 💕

selkie au is near and dear to my heart. unfortunately what started the initial pause in working on it was jacking up my wrist, but since recovering i’ve been a bit gun shy picking it back up. this month’s inktober comic-ish theme is me trying to get back onto the horse, as it were.

i have a roadmap for the selkie au though, and at the time i got injured i did have the next several pages sketched out. i am hoping to get back to it this november.

ah, sorry it wasn’t working!

i checked both current selkie au comic posts to verify the ao3 links, and they worked for me. i checked with a couple friends and the links also worked for them. please bear in mind the works are viewable to registered ao3 users only and you have to be logged in to ao3 to access them!
