I woke up this morning, super excited about attending PhoneGap Day in downtown Portland. I arrived to find the conference had moved forward three hours. Wait…what?
I drove into town to find a large number of people scratching their heads wondering why there was no conference. Sure, the conference is free and they’re even providing beer. But all the same it would have been helpful to know about a critical time change. Like, maybe an email with a subject line that reads “Important: Event Time Change.”
They sent out an email about the conference less than a week ago which made no mention of a time change, and even listed the original time therein. No email since.
I love the PhoneGap team, but this seems like a very irresponsible move. There were a number of very angry people there, one guy who even traveled four hours from Eastern Oregon.
I hate to say I’m disappointed with the PhoneGap team, but alas I am.
