Hello, World!
Your classic introduction to programming. Cheesy, I know.
Fear not. Contrary to what the title might suggest (forgive me, I’m not creative and I’m currently in a programming class that’s been taking over my life so my brain now screams “JAVA” at everything it sees), this blog will not solely be about programming. If you ask me why I'm starting this blog, I have no idea. Perhaps it's because my mind's always constantly running, and putting these thoughts into actual concrete words will help me entertain them further. Perhaps I want to be heard. Or perhaps I'm just finding a new way to procrastinate while feeling some semblance of productivity.
You don't know me, so you'll never know which truth it is. And even those that do, you might have a better idea of which one it is, but you'll never know either because I don't know myself. But the plan is to post whatever that catches my attention, I guess. Not quite literally, or this will be full of cat videos, but I digress.
And on the name of this blog: phosgraphe is just from the root words of photography (sorry if I’m butchering the terminologies; I’m not a linguist): “φως (phos)” meaning light and “γράφω (graphes)” meaning drawing from Ancient Greek. I don’t know any Ancient Greek so please let me know if Wikipedia lied to me.
I'm starting to sound like a pretentious prat but this is more or less my stream of consciousness (slightly revised so I don't go overboard on my tangents). Welcome to my brain.
It’s getting a little late here (well, it’s 9:26PM but I have to wake up at 5:30AM for class. Yay, timezones and studying remotely) so I’ll cut this short and do a self introduction later.
See ya.
