It's too late! I hope! I can't see how they can CGI it in over what they've filmed!
phospolarase said: They’ll find something worse.
The worst of it is, you're almost certainly right. (I hate what I've seen so far of Odin's new stuff. BUT I caught sight of his old helmet, so there is hope that there may be an explanation at least for the change.)

Thank you all! (I feel pretty normal this morning, which is okay.)

I tend to be a friendly drunk rather than a sad one, haha, so I get caught off guard when the sadness comes up... Crying and its level of help are a bit weird for me, I can never work out if I attach its importance to the fact that it's meant to help or that it does. (I had a cup of tea, went to sleep and woke up not hungover and not drunk, which means the hangover's not lying in wait for me at ten am.)
phospolarase said: I find clothes shopping terrifying for this reason. So rarely does anything fit properly.
Clothes shopping is horrible, especially when it's for 'smart' things and therefore you have to at least try to get a fit and need to navigate changing rooms. Normal clothes I just buy way too big and that minimises the problem - at least they don't fit in a way I can deal with...
phospolarase said: You make hangovers sound fun. Maybe I should try having one, just for the experience.
They're not that fun in the moment, but they vary by person and drink, I think. Mine tend to be 'queasy, headachey and heavy-feeling (unpleasant) with loads of absurd ideas (awesome!)' so they're not too bad in the grand scheme of hangovers. The heavy-feeling thing is persistent and I think it's something to do with the vodka, the headache is probably more the wine, and I can't isolate the absurd ideas.
phospolarase said: One of my three modules, at least. All my 2D art, which means I’ve spent the weekend frantically scanning all my sketch books. I have to put everything on a cd. Then I’ve got my written work and 3d stuff to hand in on friday… and then, freedom.
How did it go? Hope it's all gone well - you're free now, right? Sorry it took me so long to get to this...
phospolarase said: I have to hand in all my coursework on Monday, and here I am replying to posts on tumblr.
I know that feeling... (Do you have to give it in all in one lump? Ouch.)
phospolarase said: Does Odin appear to age at all between the scenes in the past and in the present? It’s been so long since I watched Thor I can’t remember.
Yes, he does. During the war, his hair was dark-ish and his face wasn't so lined. While teaching kid!Loki and Thor, his hair was still streaked with brown and he was somewhat more lined, though not as much as in the present. In the present his hair is fully white.
Unfortunately we can't look at Laufey and deduce things the same way, because we don't know how jotnar age. Asgardians, at least, look mostly like us.
