Star Trek Fotonovels were published by Pocket Books between 1977-1979 and were comic books created around still photographs of an episode. Some even had neat extras like how the “All Your Yesterdays” photo novel had an interview with guest star Marietta Hartley, who played the cave girl Zarabeth. In the days before VCRs and on demand streaming, it was the only way to re experience an episode on demand.
Just reading about the Star Trek Fotonovels (a series of twelve softcover pocket photonovel books, produced by Mandala Productions and published by Bantam Books during the years 1977-1978) and I was looking at the Memory Alpha page for the book Star Trek: Metamorphosis (the fifth release in the series), and

Here in Brazil, unfortunately, I suspect that the only MFU fandom that exists is the movie’s, since the dubbed version from the 1960s (aired by TV Excelsior, that doesn’t exist anymore) is lost. :(
And, anyway, it’s easier to translate a few subtitles of your photonovels to Português, than my fics, that have ~2k words each one, to English. (~my laziness is killing me :D)
