Photophobic = your eyes are intolerant to light

Eg, migraine is a photophobic condition.

i have a migraine (god of healing) so i’m more light sensitive than usual (god of light) and i had to miss my band class bc of my migraine (god of music)

Happy disability pride to us photophobic people specifically btw. :3 for some reason photophobia is sometimes forgotten around all the hassel? ;;

So happy pride to.. those with severe photophobia, to those with mild light photophobia, to those who get migraines from their photophobia, those who avoid going outside as much as possible, those who wear exclusively sunglasses even inside and get dirty looks because of it, those who have their room darkened and so many more!

For those of you who don't know, I'm photophobic!!

Photophobia, not an actual fear, is a medical condition regarding sensitivity to light!!

For me, it's basically, if I look at a light then look away, I see little dots in the shape of the light in my vision!!

So.. going to a concert I've learned something. The flashing color lights don't bother me but the white ones make my head hurt. And I'm thinking that maybe my sensory overload is more so sounds overlaying each other rather than just loud.
