rendered concept.
Now I am thinking about communicating my design from a more human level, I need to focus on small inhabited details of the spaces. Thresholds are always an important part of any design, particularly a design with a public front. The threshold needs to be inviting; welcoming and open, but also clearly defining a separation between interior and exterior. Particularly a library, in my opinion, its important to balance that sense of calm and seclusion, with the sense of openness. I need a better way to represent this transition from exterior to interior. I need to show the walls as that partition between two worlds, to show the lived in detailing and the contrasts between outside and in. Need to hand-draw.
