when niall half man says he and ruben are the same person i don’t think he means it as in they are two separate people who are the exact same (which seems to be the way alby takes it) i think he means it like the way plato depicts soulmates as two halves of one being torn apart. he’s not saying they’re similar he’s not saying they’re identical he is saying they are the other halves of each other they are each other’s cut out pieces. and i think the title is referencing that theory too.
