Getting a new mobility aid makes me feel So Much. I'll be in less pain, I'll be able to have more freedom, and that makes me so, so happy. But also, I'm more visibly disabled. Getting custom braces feels like such a big 'thing'. It's scary. I'm excited and anxious and happy and sad and embarrassed all at once. I don't know.

God. My apartment isn't accessible, so I just kind of... dont leave, except when I HAVE to. My Dr wants me to practice using my wheelchair outside more often, but to do that, I have to carry it down like 6 steps to get outside, which is so difficult and painful. I hate this, I hate being disabled. AhHHhHhhHH
