Okay so there’s this lovely thing called privilege that many people have Now, kids, when someone who is of a group who is oppressed or looked down upon my another, privileged, blames that entire group for what they’re going though, it is not unreasonable. That does not at all double as them hating you personally. I’m sure you’re a good person. I’m sure you support what they’re fighting for. But what you have to know is that you ARE part of the group that is to blame for what they’re going through. The truth is, whether you’ve actively contributed to the oppression or not, you are not going to be rewarded with praise and a pedestal for being a decent human being and supporting other humans right to be who they are, and you should not expect to be excluded from the “oppressors” category just because you as an individual are not actively and consciously oppressing others The people being oppressed aren’t excluded from the “oppressed” category if they personally are in a supportive community or don’t feel as if they’re being oppressed. If you are confident that you are being supportive of an oppressed group, then why the hell do you even feel the need to point yourself out as one of the good ones? People know that it’s not literal People know that not literally every straight or white or male person is bad But it’s not at all unreasonable for someone to be angry and say “fuck straight people” or “fuck white people” or “fuck men”

Literally so sick of all the abuse people get over their sexuality. I dunno who's been up to date with what's been happening to Tumblr user phukers today but he's had a hell of a lot of abuse from homophobic pieces of shit who seem to think that gay men and women are on equal footing to straight people... It's such an ugly thing... I am so sick of having to explain myself to people! I am so sick of being labeled "the gay friend" I can't even walk down the street holding a guys hand without someone commenting and let's not even talk about representation! I shouldn't have to hold out hope that two characters of the same sex might be hinted at because they'll never actually show them getting together.... My sexuality is not adult and it's not perverted! If two characters in a tv show get together it's usually a show geared towards gay people or thrown in as a gimmick, My sexuality is not a gimmick! It's been a long day and an even longer year, this shit needs to stop... Straight people are fucking disgusting!
