A few weeks had passed after the horrible events after the Fire Ceremony went wrong. Things were settling again, like dust, like people always do, back in the same old trudging on of time, the same old spinning of the world.
It was best not to dwell on it. That -- yes, that was best. It was best to just move on, forever put the one foot in front of the ever, forever let your heart forget its last beat and focus only on its next. What happened weeks ago was weeks ago. Better just forget it.
He had found the card of the café almost completely by accident, but it had reminded him of his promise. He was eager to see what the café of the cheerful water bending girl looked like -- would it be ocean themed? Blue walls, greenish tiles, shells and corals as decorations? Or would it be something cute, or something cozy?
Either way, he longed to see a cheerful, smiling face, to see if she was safe.
So he happily entered the café, disguise in place, smiling brightly as the lovely, bubbly Eunhye of The Little Penguin. He had jokingly brought an umbrella, despite the good weather, just as a preperation after their last meeting. He saw Amber busy behind the counter, so he just settled in a nice place by the window, waiting until Amber had some time to greet him -- if she even still remembered Eunhye.
This was such a nice place, what a shame he hadn’t been able to convince Jongkook to join him here. It was the perfect place for a date.
