Goodbye

I suppose it’s time for me to say something “official” about staying/leaving.

I will not be keeping HaHa, nor will I be keeping Sunny. Feel free to unfollow me.

I think the way this closure was handled was extremely rude and honestly, I have no motivation to try write in a universe even the admins can drop like it’s hot. So, yeah, if they don’t care enough to keep the idea alive and try for it, then neither will I. I understand school takes priority, but school doesn’t happen overnight and to just drop us all like this is very demotivating, so. yeah. Fuck that.

I’ll probably keep this account around and join other rps, though I won’t join Nightside. I wish you guys all the best with that one, but vampires really aren’t my thing, so I don’t think I’ll have much inspiration for it.

If anyone wants to keep in contact, I have both aim and skype. So just hmu on tumblr IM to ask me about those.

Also, if anyone is still interested in rping with me (albeit it under a different muse, namely Song Jihyo) you can find me at The Last of Us KRP. His heartbeat was like a siren’s howl, high and frantic, urgent and blinding. His head throbbed with it, spinning and twirling, an unsteady pressure behind his eye, flickering in and out of pain.

He blinked, but nothing but darkness greeted him. He tried to concentrate on anything at all, squinting through the dark, but his head spun too much, too out of control.

Just breathe, Donghoon, just breathe. But it was impossible through the racing of his heart. He swallowed thickly, as if his heart would crawl right out of his throat if he didn’t, as if it was finally tired of working so much, jumping around so much. It had been trashing against his ribcage to escape since the day he was born.

He tried to move, but he was ... tied up? Restrained, in some way. Tears formed in his eyes.

What the fuck was going on? Why couldn’t he remember anything? What was going on?

Midnight Snack | HaHa & Jin Goo

Jin Goo was a whole street and a half away when the smell hit him. It was times like this when he wasn’t the happiest to have sensitive senses. The smell of freshly cooked meat wafted towards him, and suddenly Jin Goo was pulling his jacket around himself tighter, walking at a faster pace. He had just finished with a client, and figured he could grab something to eat before heading back to the gym. 

He sat down at his usual table, and ordered a serving of meat. It was late at night, and there were only a few people at the restaurant. That was one of the reasons why he liked to frequent the restaurant. It was open late enough that it wasn’t as loud in the odd hours, which was when he liked to go. As the meat cooked, Jin Goo tapped at his phone, scrolling through his calendar to see his bookings. It was fairly empty for the rest of the week, at least he’d be able to rest for a little bit.

It was late enough that the door opening turned HaHa’s head. He gave Jingoo an automatic smile, not very interested in making it a genuine or a bright one, just being polite. Without much fuss he took his order, still unfailingly polite and gave him the meat he requested, trudging back to the bar.

There he sat down on a barstool and just surveyed the restaurant, zoned out. He wished everyone would leave already, but with Jingoo just entering it would still be a while. Maybe he should start closing the restaurant earlier. Maybe he should just fucking close it all together and leave this place and find his own home. Then he wouldn’t have to deal with a surly hyung. Or with his heart being broken all the time.

Okay fine, maybe -- maybe he brought it upon himself. But was it really that awful to ask for a smile once in a while? Maybe he shouldn’t joke about them being together, but the way his hyung shut him down today was just harsh. The worst thing was that he didn’t even care. He was probably sleeping now without a care in the world and tomorrow he wouldn’t even mention it ever again. That’s how it always was, HaHa with all the feelings and the hurt and the effort and the trying and him just not giving a flying fuck.

Maybe he should just give up.

He sighed again and stood up, deciding perhaps distracting would work better. He was never the person to just sit around and sulk. Feeling guilty for his polite but cold treatment of Jingoo earlier, he walked back and gave him a brighter smile.

“How’s work going? I didn’t see you at all this week, it must’ve been busy. Make sure to eat well.” he smiled brightly at the man.

I hate that I’m a coward. I mean, not always, because let’s face it, in the real world? You don’t make it by being a hero. Heroes die. Gruesomely. So running away isn’t always bad, but -- but I should probably do it less often?

It would be nice to brave like a real superhero, and to be able to back it up too! To be strong like hyung or confident like Sooyoung. But I’m just... me, and all I can do is trick people a little, so what am I supposed to do? I can’t fight! That’s absurd.

I should probably still be a little braver and lie to people less to cover up for that fear.

- &&. Okay, so the penguins were pretty cute, and Ava did spend almost all her breaks petting and playing with them, but that didn’t mean they deserved their own ice castles. It took a lot of effort for Ava to make anything out of ice - even with the ability to just conjure it out of nowhere, lately she wasn’t in the mood in make intricate ice decorations for the restaurant, so HaHa and his penguins would have to wait.

Ava didn’t know why she even bothered arguing with Eunhye, most of the time she was so stubborn, even if Ava was in the right she had to agree with her just to be able to go home without a splitting headache. She sighed dramatically, deliberately trying to drown out the sound of Eunhye’s voice.

“Eunhye, he had everything on Jongkook, mostly because I don’t find Jongkook attractive. I’m 21, how old are you? 40, right?” Ava rolled her eyes, she often had to remind Eunhye of how young she was, which surprised her considering Ava looked barely 18. “Jongkook, is an old man, I like ‘em young.” She wiggled her eyebrows with a giggle. “Fresh meat.”

HaHa gasped, clutching his heart and staring at her in dramatic, uncomprehending horror. She didn’t find Jongkook attractive? What -- how? And then she dared to actually utter those words out loud? That was ballsy. And freaky. Wrong, honestly, just wrong. Little RoRo on his shoulder was wearing an equally baffled expression.

“Wow, rude, I’m 28, thank you very much and Jongkook hyung is only 36, that’s not old! How dare you utter such blasphemous words in my restaurant. What have I ever done to deserve such pain?”

He shook his head.

“Well, you go for Weird Chopstick Dude’s twinkie ass then, I don’t want nothing to do with that. Fresh meat -- what, so you can break ‘em in or something?” He shrugged cheerfully, poking her side, looking at her curiously.

“No, but, serious for a moment: you really don’t think Jongkook oppa is hot? I mean, you -- you know the guy I’m talking about, right? Dreamy eyes, perfect hair, shoulders that make Superman look tiny, jawline sharp enough to cut freaking diamonds with, biceps bigger than my fist -- that guy, I’m talking about that guy. And you ... don’t think he’s hot?”

HaHa snapped his fingers as a thought occured to him.

“You’re playing me about Chopstick Dude and you’re totally gay, that’s it, right? Or did Jongkook oppa shut down your advances? Don’t worry about that, sweetie, we’ve all been there. Don’t take it personal.”
