Day 1
Day 1:
What is Philosophy? Thats a great question. Honestly, coming away from class today, I feel like really, philosophy can be interpreted so many ways and thought about in many different lights, I would be writing for days trying to describe what it means. Also, Thad has a coffee roaster in his backyard, and its name is “what”. In class today, someone asked “Whats something cool you have been able to do with philosophy” and Thad replied: “live life” and sort of did this surfer bro hand thing. It was funny at the time, but I honestly can’t stop thinking about it, and its been about 3 hours. What is living life, and how has him having a philosophy degree allowed him to max out his life? I know this sounds cliché and such, but like... what is life? wow. That was a way too philosophical statement for the first day of class, and we just went over the syllabus and got to know Thad and had maybe one or two talks on philosophy. My head is swimming with questions, and I can’t wait until I realize some answers.
