The women in Physical Asia are absolute BEASTS. Every single one of them. I don’t think there’s a single woman who didn’t show up and didn’t stand their ground whether it be against a group or 1v1 against bigger opponents. They all came locked in and ready to fucking PLAY.
There’s this general perception in western culture that we Asian women are dainty and soft but this show highlights our women as anything but. They are competitive and have diverse sporting backgrounds. Their strengths. Their skills and abilities. All so strong. All so powerful and explosive. Not to mention the representation of different body types that’s beyond traditional representation of Asian women in popular media because fucking hell yeah we are made of tough stuff!
Just shows that fitness and strength doesn’t come in a singular moulding; we come in there’s different shapes and sizes
These refs from Physical Asia are very distracting
I think more people need to know about this screenshot
I'm watching Physical Asia and I'm so pissed with the homophobic comments towards P'James. I'm so happy he's there and he's giving entertainment. He knows how to make people laugh and he knows that his mannerisms make his opponent underestimate him. It's so important for the queer community that when he wins he shows off that way. Like yes! Queer people can be effeminate and strong and intelligent all at the same time!
I like that he didn't act all masculine just because he was in a masculine dominant environment. He knows who he is and he knows he's worth it.
And I'm so happy my favorite team was Mongolia since the beginning because they're the only ones who never underestimated James for his queerness nor made any comments about it. When everyone was talking about P'James walking in a femenine way after winning, Mongolia was talking about how intelligent his strategy was.
