08//07//09 PROJECT OPENING: HELLO WORLD!
24//06//20 MAIN EVALUATION - physical scribbles
23//06//20 CREATIVE SPACES: THE SPARE ROOM: is an important part of this project. Mine was taken away due to covid, I had to re-locate my physical, creative, and mental space. This is how my physical one has come to be during this graduation project.
FEEDBACK week18//05//20
DESIGN:
its like its reversed, in the digital you can do whatever you want but you chose to still do a runway, and in the physical setting its any environment/own environment... (my response: its to highlight this extraordinary time we are living through, whereby our physical settings are separate, but we all dive into the same digital space).
DIGITAL VISUALISATION:
to make designs stiff, or metal settings, in clo3d.. make sure stretch and bending properties are down. You can also export the item as an obj, then reload as an avatar or trim. As a trim, you have the option to glue it to the garments, but not the avatar.
21//05//20 ENVIRONMENT AND PRESENTATION NOTES - PHYSICAL
07//05//20 MASKS - I have been struggling a lot with know how to sew and make things to help people, but being in lock down with no sewing equipment or machine. I felt helpless. But slowly with some creativity and using no sewing, I am finding methods.
20//04//20 FEEDBACK
DESIGN FEEDBACK - interim prep check
for the interim, make clear where you are now and where you want to be
- have a moment of calm, not just all collages and small images
- good structure, and engaging video
- mention the environment - make it clear. What does the wall represent? (my response:) a wall usually means you cant go through it, but the digital allows for the extra-ordinary, now you can pass through the wall. I personally relate to it as the laptop screen, a physical boundry that I have overcome to delve deep into my creative digital space and find my creative mental space in response. It also shows the link between the physical world, and that of its digital twin, of evolution and possibilities. - the twist on what a runway is, with the melting first row etc, is also interesting. links the physical more. shows presentation possibilities, and that fashion doesnt have to be how it was, gives an extra perspective. - I NEED TO BE CLEAR ON WHAT THE MAIN MESSAGE IS - is it this wall, is it the runway, is it the perspective of the camera turning around to the outside to see me - a lot of things, be careful in the way I combine the communication
