AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I haven't left my room other than to go to classes in about 4-5 days and have barely gotten any sleep with all the physics labs I've been working on. I'm finally done with all of them. I can't believe how much I got done and how well I've focused over the last week. 92 pages of physics reports in the last week and most of it was in the last 4 days. How exasperating.
What they tell you physics experiments are like: Okay Class today we're going to be using the scientific method :) Remember, everyone should wear their safety goggles and follow the lab manual carefully!
What they're actually like: All the equipment is broken and I've never seen or heard of a "safety goggle". The interferometer only works if you put three notecards under the back left corner. Also, I stabbed myself in the hand with a screwdriver, but I can't leave because we must get all our data now because there's no POSSIBLE way to reproduce these kinda of conditions. Yoinks
What not to write in my cover letter for a Physics Lab Tech application: when I took this course, the equipment I had to use was always broken. I usually fixed it with a paperclip before the TA was able to find help. I am good at fixing all your broken shit and also want to prevent future undergrads from suffering my fate.
