I was on a work trip in the city of Wuhan, China recently when I encountered large playground structures, not for children, but for adults. They were  located adjacent to the children's playground, which was a very convenient and accessible way to encourage activity among grandmas and grandpas who'd often be the primary caretaker of small children living in the neighbourhood.
