HIP DIPS While you might think that hip dips is something which is inherited and can’t be changed, hip dips are the cause of the weak glute muscles (aka the butt). Glute muscles have their insertion point into the iliotibial band, simply put side of the hips (see the next slide, it’s the white tissue below the gluteus maximum muscle marked in green), so when these muscles are weak you start having problems in your knees - like knees are shaking, you feel pain after squats, or long walks. Many times when glute muscles are weak, people feel pain in the lower back as well. So, to get rid of hip dips you should make your glute muscles stronger and bring them back to life, once they become strong and tight, hip dips will disappear, because what you see as a “hip dip” is a group of 3 weak glute muscles sinking down, causing major problems with your health such as knee and lower back pain. When you have hip dips you might think it’s all about aesthetics, while it’s about health, and proper strength and functioning of your muscles.
