Whenever Violet was alone inside the dragon shrine, she would sing. It was a song passed down from a mother she never had a chance to meet, only given to her by her older sisters. While Violet never thought of it as anything special, she did enjoy singing it quite a bit at the dragon shrine. It felt right, for some reason. And since she was alone at the moment, at least until her new boss stopped in, why shouldn’t she?
As she finished up her song, Violet heard the door to the shrine begin to open. She tensed up. Oh, that had to be the new boss of the shrine. She hoped they hadn’t heard her at all. At least her voice was quiet enough. She turned around to the door as she watched it open.
And immediately, her stomach dropped. Her eyes grew wide as she realized just who it was who walked in.
It was that frightening man from the tournament. The one who she defeated in battle. She stood there, frozen for a while in her priestess attire, not sure what to do. It was impolite to stare, she knew that. But what else was she to do?
Shakily, Violet bowed her head, mainly to break eye contact with him and meekly look at the floor, “H-Hello...i-is t-there anything I-I can help you with...s-sir?”
