“𝓘 am never coming!” Sofia shouted from their bedroom door, rushing back to the mirror on her armoire to finish getting ready. With the long-awaited arrival of their beautiful baby boy - Leo, it was her idea for their little family to take official and formal pictures together - especially because they did not have many of just the three of them - Luke, Mia, and herself included. She scurried around the room gathering her collection of different outfits to wear in case she was not feeling the one she was in and was ready to walk out the door when she remembered - and it was something she could not forget.

𝒲ith her bandana from Luke in hand, she eagerly came down the stairs and met her husband in the foyer, holding Mia in one arm and Leo in a carrier on the other hand - kissing him softly on the lips. 

“𝒟o you have nothing - your bandana, their bandanas? We cannot be early!”

Flower Festival || Multiple

Evelyn couldn’t lie. Compared to Soseki, she was absolutely at a loss when it came to words. So when it came to the Flower Festival, she wasn’t exactly sure of the message she should carry towards the people she was buying bouquets for. So, Evelyn decided to simply write one message to send to all of them.

Because, honestly, there was one particular thing that Evelyn wanted to announce.

The Hunt Family ( @sofiaquitecontrary and @treetopdynamite ), the Dezar Family ( @endlessmadrigal and @jake-out-the-humans ), and Porcoline ( @marveloushello ) will find the following message attached to a bouquet of purple lisianthuses. Georgia ( @rxzberries ) will find this message attached to a bouquet of red alstromerias.

Happy Flower Festival from your favorite seamstress! I hope you enjoy the flowers on this lovely day! 

Also, I have a small announcement to make. Let’s just say that everyone should expect two little ones at the Yamamoto household around September ;)

adventure time » luke & alex

Luke. One of his closest childhood companions, an older brother figure all throughout school and someone to get into mischief with through their late teens and young adulthood. But recently, Luke had settled down with a wife, even had a child. Alex had been present for all of these events, and although he was utterly over the moon for his friend, he also missed all the old shenanigans they used to get up to. 

One afternoon that Alex had free, he made a decision. He headed over to the Hunt Manor -- Goddess, how did he have a manor when Alex was still stuck in a hotel room?! -- without even a text of warning. He went to bang on the door decisively then paused, realising the baby might be sleeping, and gave a much more timid rap than fit the mood. 

Fortunately, it was Luke who answered the door, so he didn’t have the task of making up excuses for his wife.

“Good afternoon, old friend,” he said with a mischievous grin. “We’re going on an adventure.”

Getting Good || Luke & Jake

[ ⚔ ] — He couldn’t believe he was doing this.

All Jake had wanted was a little information on the gym. He’d never really used one before, so he figured he’d ask Luke, as beefed out as he was (there was no way he didn’t use them), a few harmless questions about setting up a membership and what to expect.

But the idiot took that as Jake asking -- no, begging -- for help in fixing up his workout routine, and INSISTED on helping him out. So now here they were, decked out in running gear and about to start on a jog throughout the island. Yeah. Not a neighborhood, or a street... the whole damn island.

This was way too extreme.

“Alright, so are we doing this thing or not?” Jake grumbles, rolling his shoulders. Might as well get it over with. It sounded like it was going to be total hell, but it had to have been worth it in the end... right? 

If it gave him the sort of muscles Luke and Owen had, then he guessed he couldn’t complain too much. Hell, Meg might appreciate it, too.

B A B Y   S H O W E R   G I F T S

As soon as Lily arrived at the store, she flagged down an employee to help her choose some baby shower gifts. She had no idea what was appropriate and what babies needed, since she had no plans of having children in the near future. 

With the help of the worker, she decided on Bambi themed muslin cloths (Lily had no ideas what these were used for but apparently they were essential for new mothers), a soft bunny toy for the baby to cuddle, and a pink photo album so the couple could record all their memories of their baby girl.

[ Baby Shower Gifts ]

[♫] — Max refused to attend his cousin’s baby shower empty-handed, so along with picking up the delivery for the custom-made music box he ordered a few days beforehand, he ended up stopping by the store after work, and picking out a few more gifts he felt both Mia and her parents would appreciate.

The activity mat was a bit too large for him to be carting in (of course, that’s what his assistants were for), but he was sure Sofia and Luke would love it as much as the music box and two animal-themed bath towels he brought.

He wished the two a healthy and happy birth. Come soon, little Mia!

A Bountiful Payment || Raguna & Luke

[✿] — “Thanks for the treatment, Doc. I don’t know what I’d do without you.” The farmer chuckles as he rolls his shoulder. No more aches, good mobility, no weird disjointed feeling-- it was as a good as new. He had fallen on it pretty roughly on the last adventure he had gone on, but thankfully it wasn’t broken. Just dislocated. Even better now that Luke had fixed him up. “Guild work can be fun and rewarding, but it can definitely take a toll on the body. We’re lucky to have professionals like you around to patch us up.”

Rolling his shoulder again, Raguna is pleased to feel that there’s still nothing wrong with it, and he stands from his seat. “So, how much will the bill be this time?” 

He asks the messy haired blonde who had just treated him, knowing well of the man’s love for vegetables. It was something the farmer had learned by chance when he came to visit and present the doctors of the clinic with them as a gift once. “And what types of vegetables do you want this time? I brought some cabbages along with me today, but if you want something else I can come with it tomorrow? Strawberries? Cucumbers?”

Law and Order [ Chase/Luke ]

     There were a few notable perks to knowing the now police chief, who was coincidentally married into one of the richest family in Leuda. Chase was never big on his sideline thieving, but he does indulge himself in the thirst every once in a while. It was always a good decision to be on the good side of the highest ranking law enforcer in town, and what better way to do than with a meal? From what he remembers, Luke liked cake of the ‘healthier’ variety-- spinach would do. He had extra spinach.

     By the time the afternoon came, right around the time he was sure the police chief would pass by during one of his patrols around Leuda, Chase heads out to the diner, whistling loudly with two fingers to call for the other’s attention.

     “Over here. Hey.” He calls out casually, waving his now free hand while the other held a slice of spinach cake. “You free for a short cake break?”
