That’s The Tea || Georgia & Kamil
@a-nobilis;
[🐎] — Even though the two of them were as different as night and day, Kamil had been one of Georgia’s closest friends since childhood. He always had been a sensible, grounded presence in her life. The sort of person who always knew the right things to say (despite not saying much), and to look at situations with a rational, objective eye.
Because of this, she often made it habit to go to him if she ever wanted to vent about something, because she knew Kamil would listen to her and give her the advice she needed to hear. She wasn’t as close with Phillip to bother him with all her problems, and Kana was, well... Kana.
Claire? She loved the girl, but her advice was awful. And Alisa, smart as she was, wasn’t exactly experienced in this particular topic... not that Kamil was either, but at least with him, there was a level of familiarity and comfort that she didn’t quite have with any of the others.
So it was really no surprise that she had begun to ramble about her relationship issues while she was chatting with him over tea.
“---then he got all DEFENSIVE after I asked him who he was talkin’ to!” The fight was over now, and she and Neil had made up, but something in her and Kamil’s conversation had reminded her of it. Of all the stupid misunderstandings, the anger and frustration that was felt... and insecurities borne from it. Those still bothered her.
So here she was, rambling on as she recalls the incident, and sipping at her milk tea with a huff. “Could you blame me for gettin’ worried? Neil texts some other girl, and then starts actin’ all dodgy about it... who wouldn’t think he was tryin’ to hide something?”
