Having a bed go a night empty feels so cruel when so many people would love to sleep in it
The mentality should be that beds not go empty, that all beds must be filled and all stomachs too before the night comes
As a pre-night routine for all of us, as the final responsibility of the day. The closing shift
We need more community purposed holidays or traditions or events
The city cleaning day, for example. Everyone is off work but we go out to clean the city
We NEED to share a sentiment, a love for something, to love each other more. We are portrayed to be so different among each other, even the race myth has crated such division among all of us. But we all, at the core, share our love for love, for beauty, for joy, for family, for emotion, for art, for creativity and creation and innovation. I think this is common of all of us.
Now the individualistic capitalistic culture DEMANDS of you to make something exceptional and unique out of yourself, to have value, to have depth, to have an “exclusivity” to you and a demand (capitalism). Something that makes you above-average and superior to the rest hence detached from the rest. Hierarchies.
We need to have specific niche, specific hobbies or god given purpose or talent (like marty supreme) or a unique superior beauty or a unique superior taste
But what if our only purpose is to exist to keep the human race alive? Social? Moving? Evolving?
I think our purpose as (human) beings is to be in community, impact and influence each other, reproduce with each other, and just keep the species going, the history going
Lets live a little, thats the whole point
Lets love each other, lets share with each other
We are all the same, we’ve made up so many divisions like class and race
But we are just our product of our time and place, same species that evolved in different environments and contexts
Talk to people, no one is a stranger
