Review about The Rising Son: Well finally, I had a chance to watch this episode! Here's my opinion about it: - I really like Jack in this episode; he's adorable and innocent. Looks like he "adapted" that qualities to his "father", Castiel. But in this episode we saw that there were flashbacks when Luci connecting to Jack when he was still in the womb of Kelly. I think Jack may appear nice, lovable and innocent, though he don't recognize Luci as his father and we can't deny that there's still connection between the two. Jack is powerful, we saw that in the episode. He may seem unfamiliar of it but once someone tries manipulate him, there's a chance that he can't be stop of making destruction. I think this will happen later in the season.. I think his powers will overpower him. - Dean is an asshole in this episode. I can only think three reasons why he acted like this: 1. Am I the only one around here who thinks Dean is always whining and keeps bringing Cas? Not because I'm a destiel shipper but that is what I observed. Dean can't accept the fact that Cas is dead, it's in the first episode! He can't even say it. Now, he's still in denial that Cas is gone. Jack's innocence reminds him of his first interaction to Cas. When Jack is watching cartoon, he's also amazed like Cas did. Maybe Dean just hated Jack enjoying things (yup, killerjoy.) But the moment Dean hesitated and looks like it reminds him of something or someone... I can't help it but to relate this scene to Cas. I'm not sure if I'm over thinking this. 2. The obvious one, Jack has connection to the person who killed Cas and the reason why Mary is gone. The fact that Jack is powerful, he knows that something bad will happen so he wanted to make things clear that Jack is not a person that they could trust. If Cas was still alive, he will be the reason of Dean and Cas' fight. Hahaha! But come on! Jack saves them and Dean should at least thank him. I do understand that he's grieving but come on.. just for once say thank you to Jack? - I love Michael's entrance. His entrance is a bit fast but when Michael opened his wings, it's just perfect. It's been a long time since we have a good entrance to this show. - What I don't understand is that, prophets are protected by the angels (back in season 4) but in this episode, a demon can harm Donatello. Maybe because of their fall? That weaken their powers? I don't even know anymore. - I don't like the fighting scenes between Luci and Michael. Wtf, they're both powerful so why the fuck they punch each other's faces. Can they use their fucking powers, like telepathy or I don't know. I want to see the tension between the two characters! I mean they meet and that's it? Punching and breaking each other's arm? Well that's my review or reaction... I'm excited for next week's episode because we're finally going to see Cas and the empty. Let's see how dark the place is.
