I have a lot of feelings about this weekend, guys.
REALLY, REALLY, REALLY LONG RANT AHEAD BUT IT'S LOTS OF THANKING AND YOU MIGHT BE MENTIONED SO READ IT IF YOU CAN:
And, oops, just started tearing up already while writing this.
I wanted to thank all of you, personally and sincerely, for the most mind-blowingly fantastic weekend. The con, the people, everything exceeded my expectations.
If you didn't already know, 221BCon was my first real ~*convention experience~*. We made jokes all weekend like 'Baby's First Con' and 'Baby's First Cosplay' and how I'm a 'Con Virgin' and all of that. And, let me tell you, I couldn't have asked for a better con to take my convention/cosplay virginity.
I was nervous as hell to cosplay John. Like, intimidated and nervous and anxious and all of that. Partly because I didn't know what to expect, mainly because of the other brilliant, talented people that were attending the con, too.
But, I did it. And it went so fucking well. And I can't stop crying because of how happy I am.
And now I'm going to thank people because I'm an emotional sap, so just hang in there with me for a minute.
Firstly, to my friends from SCAD. I love you to death. You're all fantastic, and we had a blast. Rebecca, you made an amazing Mycroft. Ann Grace? You ruled the fucking con in RDJ. Sarah, you made a brilliant Doctor even when you got drunk off your ass. Katelyn, I'm so glad you surprised us, and you made the sexiest Irene. Katie, your photos. That is all.
To Zhelly and Tobie, for getting me into this crazy world in the first place and for letting me rant my nerves out and help me understand cosplaying and the lovely insanity surrounding it. You guys are amazing friends, and I love you.
To Vocea, who was the best Sherlock any John could goddamn ask for. This weekend was..honestly, one of the best. You're a talented, gorgeous, brilliant person and I can't wait to see you next month at ACEN to do it all over again.
To Koontzy, who is the sweetiest of the sweethearts. Thank you for all of the goodies. You're a goddess amongst men, my dear. Thank you for everything you do. You're one of the kindest, most genuine people I've ever met.
To Ace and Penny. Jesus, you two! Thank you for adopting me as your Mini John, for giving me love and cuddles, and for being just all around great people. I can't wait to see you guys again, hopefully soon!
To Cara and Jackie, I still cannot believe how sweet you guys are. The tea party was absolutely incredible, and you guys made me feel so welcome. I'm glad you liked our punk!lock, as well! The pictures will be up soon!
To the lovely ladies of fuckyeahjohnlockfanfic, my goD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH OKAY. Thank you for all of your sweetie compliments and for hanging out with us and for running a quality blog. You're flawless humans.
To wearsherlock and sherlocknyc, you guys gave me so much confidence. That first night, at the tea party, when you all came up to me and took pictures with the grapes in my eyes - and then when you made Vocea and I re-create the earphone/grapes picture yesterday - it honestly made me so happy. You're wonderful and brilliant, the lot of you and I really can't thank you enough.
To Coey, Sketchlock, and Shy - wow. I never thought I'd actually meet my favorite fanartists...and then I spent an entire night hanging out with them and having a bunch of drunken fun. You're some of the most talented motherfuckers out there. Keep doing what you're doing, and please never stop. Thank you for being so kind to everybody, you're all lovely.
To the friends I made at the con, Lizzy and Jupiter and the awesome Lestrade whose name I can't remember and the cute John and the cute Molly and her friend and the other Lestrade and Mycroft and everybody - it was so nice meeting all of you and hanging out, and I hope to see you all again!
Finally, to anybody from Tumblr who recognized me and came up and said hi, anybody who complimented my cosplay, anybody who said anything at all - it meant the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This was perhaps one of the most extraordinary, fantastic, positive, fun-filled, mindblowing, geeky, brilliant weekend of my life, to date. Really, thank you all so much.
So, in honor of this lovely lady's birthday (and because I'm a sarcastic fuck and this is the only photo I have of us - i think) I created this.
Diana, you are... so amazing. And you are awful ("crunchatize me", jesus christ). But that's what makes you so much fun to be around. You have this bubbly personality and this light sense of humor and a fucking great laugh that just draws people in and I think that's why everyone loves you so much. I know Penny and I do. Penny definitely more... lets be honest haha.
Anyways, I am so thankful to be able to call you my friend, and that you like my stupid jokes as much as I do. I hope this made you smile, and I hope you had a fucking great birthday.
