Gah! I am now stuck with a ton of grapes!
It’s my own fault. While talking to Mom on the phone I usually walk in the woods, which was out of the question while I heal up. I’m terrible at sitting around, so despite the pain I’m dealing with (mostly the foot/ankle in the case of walking), I set out to wander to the field and back. I tucked a grocery bag in my pocket in case I found a few grapes….
I found a HUGE amount of grapes! So, even though there was thunder all around as storms closed in and it felt like my ankle might be rubbed raw enough to bleed again, I kept picking grapes. And I was doing it basically one handed, thanks to my crushed finger.
Now I’ve got an entire grocery bag full of grapes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
New problem: What the heck am I going to do with these grapes????
Jelly would be the obvious thing except I still have jelly from last year. And the year before. And the year before that. And the year before that. Plus I’d have to buy stuff, and drive to the next town to buy the stuff….
Suggestions?
Oh well, I guess I will have to juice some of the grapes while I figure out what to do next. Like I needed more to do! LOL

Napa Valley Grape Harvesting...Hauling Gondolas to Vineyard
Napa Valley grape harvesting...hauling gondolas to vineyard is what this DIY howto video is about. VideoJoe is helping his friend Victor haul some gondolas over to another vineyard so his crew can continue picking grapes. He doesn't just work at one vineyard. He has his crews working in many different vineyards over the course of a harvesting season. So he needs to be on his toes at all times so he wears a few different hats for sure. Picking grapes is quite the art and lots has to be done for the 2.5 months for the grape harvesting picking season. He just picked up 33 new stainless steel gondolas for this season & he will get another 33 new gondolas next year & the following year as well to replace the older steel gondolas. At $3300 a pop it sure can get expensive to own & run a vineyard & winery so you really have to know what you're doing for sure. Hauling gondolas to a vineyard is easy...when you know how. Watch & learn as VideoJoeShows you the Napa Valley grape harvesting season...hauling gondolas to a vineyard. Easy!
