I sigh and drink my coffee-a

Trying to write with little skill.

Oh! Cruel prompts of picklemafia!

I long to write an aria,

Lines that sing, and verse that trills.

I sigh and drink my coffee-a.

I become ever sloppy-a,

As more and more ink I spill.

Oh! Cruel prompts of picklemafia!

Try as I might, I cant copy a

Stanza that might fit the bill,

I sigh and drink my coffee-a.

Each line stinks like tilapia,

I grip my desk! I feel ill!

My brain has melted like toffee-a

This prompt really is a dill.

after spending the past two years plodding through my unwieldy collection of (salty, sour, and spicy, occasionally meaty or fishy, but never sweet) pickles, i have finally whittled my stock down to the dregs of a bottle of mustard stuffed green chilies, and thus, the time to restock is upon us :)

I am curious how one is initiated into the pickle mafia. Asking for a friend

That friend didn't ask but yknow... sometimes people get thrown into circumstances beyond their control and end up aboard a hearse of pickles.

Funnily enough, the initiation process does involve a hearse full of pickles, but I've already said too much!
