Pickles Pub
Located "just a homerun away" from historic Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Pickles Pub stands as a tradition to local and visiting sports fans alike. But don't be fooled by the name, Pickles separates itself from conventional "sports bars" by offering nearly a city blocks worth of sit down dining, party suites, lounge areas, table top bars, patio space, and more sports on their 30 HDTVs than any one fan can watch.
To find out more about this Baltimore icon we caught up with Sandy Cassidy Cotton from Pickles.
Visit Baltimore: What makes Pickles Pub the #1 pre- and post- game restaurant for Orioles and Ravens fans?
Sandy: We've always been a part of people's traditions. They can depend on Pickles to have cold beer, great food, good service, and friendly bartenders. Families and fans know that they can come here and get seated table service with a great meal before and after the game.
VB: What can visitors expect when they come to Pickles Pub?
Sandy: The excitement and the atmosphere. Visitors can expect a place where they can sit down in a relaxed, casual environment, where they can watch any game they want, not just what's going on across the street, with friendly and attentive waitstaff and bartenders. We always welcome opposing fans, too. We're a bar for everyone.
VB: What does it mean to have the newly dedicated Brooks Robinson Plaza right outside?
Sandy: Baltimore is a baseball town, and having the statue out front ties us in to the heritage and the culture of this historic neighborhood.
