izzie knows she can be annoying. her constant need to butt in into things that don't concern her, getting too emotionally involved ... but it all comes from a place of love. she cares a lot, and she simply wants to make sure the people around her are alright. no matter how hard they push her away. it's part of who she is. so when she seeks out alex she reminds herself not to let him get away before he's told her whatever the hell is going on with him because she can see that something is clearly bothering him. she just wants to help him; he's been there for her in the past, now it's her turn to be there for him. ❝ i'm worried about you. are you okay? ❞

@pickpetals ft. stiles . . . gets a plotted starter

she never stays too long in new orleans, the supernatural draw of the city feeling too much like the beacon of the nemeton for comfort, but when work brings her here, she has her local haunts. this bar, oft frequented by the non-human residents of this city is one of them. the bartender knows her by name — well, by fake name — and has her usual placed in front of her before she can even lift a finger. now that's service.

tonight, she's not simply here for pleasure. it's a reconnaissance mission, her plan being to keep her ear low to the ground and see if she can pick up on any rumblings about the threat that brought her to this city in the first place. she takes her drink with a grateful nod, before working her way through the throng of supernaturals to find herself in the middle of the action. the energy here is decidedly non-human, but as her eyes scan the crowd, she lands on the very last person who is decidedly very much human that she expected to see.

before she can make a clean break, their eyes meet and she's caught. allison is near certain that his presence means that he's here to interfere in her work with his own investigation.
