Billy Talent I 10th Anniversary!

Last night I went to a Billy Talent concert and it was great! My friend Joe and I snagged a space close to the stage and survived the hoards of people pushing and shoving trying to get close to the band. Notes from the concert:

- I almost got pickpocketed by a girl in front of me. Why are people such jerks at concerts? Just enjoy the music and band; that's what the rest of us should be here for.

- I watched as a guy almost got his stuff stolen after dropping his coat check. See above point for complaint.

- My favourite songs were: Fallen Leaves, River Below, and Viking Death March

- I wish Ben (the vocalist)'s voice was louder on the mic. Maybe I was so deaf I couldn't hear his shrieking trebles though.

- I broke my phone on this night too, but I guess that's what happens when your phone in your pocket gets pressed into people's butts all concert long.

- McD and Burger King operate really slow after concerts.

- I bought a really awesome t-shirt featuring the band's first album. I'm a sucker for band t-shirts

Me: I live in America, yes

Attractive French male: Nice to meet you [touches me on the shoulder] What bought you to Paris?

Me: School. I'm gonna go

Attractive French male: Wait I can help you around

Me: That's ok

Attractive French male: Why are you leaving so quickly?

Me: Because you're a pickpocketer

Attractive French male: Do all American girls think French boys that talk to pretty girls are pickpocketers?

Ok random French native that likes to hang out in the middle of the Lourve, tourist center of Paris, and randomly keeps looking around when talking, I'm sure you just wanted to talk.
