It's been a bit since I had any pictures and this is more over the last few days vs one day because this rotation has been a cluster, between the hours and having the live in a hotel room and being in my actual hometown. It's nice to come back, I guess. But it's been 9 days and I'm ready to go home (my valentine is there!! and I miss my money cat).
When you study ALL OVER and have a good time doing it. But it's been an interesting week seeing as it's getting to be that time to actually pick a speciality. I know they say you don't really have to know until ERAS is due but I totally don't feel like thats true. I'm still on the fence about it. But I did get head shots today. So not all future stress. But really, what is medical school but just future stress haha
Guess who got turned loose on the hospital today but can't enter notes into the EMR (spoiler it's me) But that means I got to hand write all my notes, and shocker, they're almost always a total mess despite the fact I outline them to make sure I don't forget anything important. I've learned the computer helps keep your notes just a tad more organized haha The fiancé also is here to hang so we got the good stuff.

I did not see the sun today. I was in the OR all day. 12 surgeries in 12 hours. A feat I thought impossible, but truly happened. I did so much. I am so tired.
Med school is weird. I was on a float in a parade for it. It was great. Also I haven't posted much just due to life and that family med is turning out to be my hardest rotation so far. It's a bit overwhelming but it's soooo good.
First day of family med! I'm not really sure how to feel about it yet mostly because it was mildly cold today so basically everyone decided to stay home and not come to their appointments 🙃 I do like the residents though, they're pretty nice and let me actually enter things into the EMR (though I'm sure that will be worn in a few days haha). Otherwise just the really cool back to a really cool dress and chocolate on chocolate super mini cupcake
