When asked to do a review and giveaway for PicturesOnGold.Com, I absolutely agreed! Looking at their products, they are wonderful! I received a Sterling Silver 2 Picture Heart Locket which I am going to gift to my mother, for Mother’s Day!
The absolute first thing that I want to mention about this company is that I emailed them on Monday asking if my necklace had been shipped. I received an email & they told me it has been shipped that day. I went to check my mail Tuesday & it was laying up against my front gate – it had been delivered by UPS on Tuesday! I was absolutely AMAZED by the absolutely quickness of the shipping! A+ in my book for that!
If you are looking for that perfect gift for your mom, wife, sister, aunt, or grandmother for Mother’s Day, a birthday or Christmas – This is the PERFECT gift for them! They are quick to get their work done & the necklace is top job! I highly recommend them!
Now for the necklace!
Getting the necklace ordered was pretty simple! I filled out all the information I needed & uploaded my pictures to see how it would look.
There were 4 sides to design, which you will notice from more pictures later on in the review!
I knew when I was ordering that I wanted one side of the inside to be of my children & the other side to be of my nephews, since this was to be for my mom. As I said before, it was super easy to do! The hardest part was deciding what I wanted on the front & back! Mom’s grandkids call her MawMaw and it’s so hard to find things with THAT – I always see stuff such as Grandma and Nana. Well, I just decided to put Happy Mother’s Day with 2 hearts on the front! (This was a preselected clipart that was already on their site.)
One year Guarantee on all merchandise.After one year from time of delivery, cost to fix damaged item is $20.00 + shipping.
That’s still not an outrageous price!
Another thing that absolutely amazed me was the fact that the pictures came out so well! They are laser engraved on there, which is just absolutely amazing!!
I sent the picture above to my sister in law to show her & we both agree it’s fantastic! I absolutely can not get over how clear they are!! Of course, they were shrank quite a bit, but in my opinion, they still turned out magnificent!!
On the back of the necklace, I had engraved, #1 Mawmaw Then under that Mother’s Day 2014! Of course she will eventually have more grandchildren, so that’s why I put the year on here (I do have 2 more brothers who are still in high school – one is graduating this year – and I am sure between them, we’ll add 5-10 more kids! That might be wishful thinking with the number but still!! I do love babies/kids!)
I was also able to choose the chain for the necklace. I chose the Sterling Silver Rolo Chain. It seems pretty heavy duty! Fantastic! Especially when you have 2 grandchildren just over a year old who like playing with necklaces & pulling!
