was tryna draw enti again and didnt like how much she looked like a deer when she was supposed to look vaguely axolotl-y. also ive decided her tail is like a seal's so she can still have her fins. nutty is also here

woagh. legs were a gd headache, more so than i thought they'd be.

the shoulder's and ribcage i mostly looked at chimpanzee's because i wanted them to be able to stand up like a biped while also being quadrupedal. i know the hips and shoulders would be what mattered there, and chimps are the best at switching between biped/quad stances so i figured they'd be the best to refrence. i just wish they could be a bit more rodent, which was the original refrence for the legs and pelvis. it didn't make any sense tho, so i scrapped it and reworked the knee's position. it doesnt QUITE match the legs on the original drawing, but, thats why i try to figure out the skeleton anyway so its fine. theres probably alot of fat storage/muscle/fluff etc anyway so its not that big a stretch.

i ended up looking at squirrel and chimp pelvises before i ended up having to squish down to something more human like anyway so that it could fit with the ribcage. i think i got it fairly solid though? the most that might be an issue is that they gotta push out eggs... maybe they can harden and i can work something similar to hextupods. or the babies will have to hatch wayyy smaller than i'd like. like pandas.
